Please rate build

0320lith

I would get a SSD, such as Samsung 850 EVO 120G. It will greatly increase your computer speed.

How about GTX1060 3GB, seems better for current game, unless you plan to game on DX12.

Other than that probably just fine. (check your power requirement beforehands, 430W is a bit low for future upgrades)

And I am not really a fan of Razer product.

My opinion:

Performance: ~4/10

Bang-for-buck: ~6-7/10

What I hate about it:

  • HDD
  • GPU
  • Power Supply
  • Wasted money on peripherals rather than putting that money towards better performance
  •

Is this build for gaming or more like an artistic kind of build? If this is a gaming build: spend more on the GPU and less on the CPU. In this pricerange AMD CPU's are the better bang for the buck. You can spend this money on a better GPU. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If he's not planning to spend more, getting a 120GB SSD would leave him with like 80GB for programs and games, i.e. constantly deleting and downloading games. A 1TB is much more convenient even if slower at that price.

I am talking about getting both though, you cannot just live off just 120G if you want to game.

Probably he can reduce spending on his peripherals at first, buy it on later date.

But seriously, even his power supply is hardly enough for the system (only mere 430W on power hungry RX470, CMIIW).

besides swapping out the evga w1 for a better unit like the cx450m, it actually looks pretty decent. but if you're buying a budget pc then you shouldn't spend so much on peripherals. get cheaper ones like the thermaltake talon and entry level mechanical keyboard or the coolermaster devastator kb+mouse combo and get a gtx 1060 6gb(skip the 3gb, vram isn't enough) and i5.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Overall, its a nice build, I actually use the same case that you are using and I really like it. The only thing I would change would be your keyboard. I use a corsair K70 lux rgb with blue cherry mx switches and it is the best thing ever. I use to have that very same razor keyboard but I returned it because the switches kept sticking and not working. I got a refund and got this instead which is im typing with right now. It vastly better with the blue switches for typing as I do alot of office work and the odd bit of gaming and I never regretted it. Hope this helps :)

you need a better CPU (at least i5 ),change the video card to a gtx1060 3G,if you have not enough budget use cheaper headphones, mouse and keyboard ,and why you need a CD drive? You`d better add a SSD, samsung 850EVO 120G would fit. where is your cpu cooler? use Deepcool 400

Spending so much money on peripherals is such a waste IMO. Build posted by herman mcpootis looks like a much better option. But I would even throw out Razer Headset and include a 120GB SSD as boot drive. SSD makes such a difference. I thought that my 8 year old HP Compaq 6710b was a goner until I've put an SSD inside. It's like brand new.
