DBan Failure, Code 255

Testing out dban on some of my drives I found around the house, some work, some don't. Strangely all 6 showed up and were running their round of dban fine.

As you can see, the third one in the list (a scamscum 60GB) has failed. I KNOW that this drive worked before, it had no bad sectors and was running windows 7 perfectly.

Why is this one giving an error? What does this error mean? After a quick google search, I couldn't find two posts that agreed with each other. I know at least two of the drives that are running their round of dban were BAD (Windows couldn't even detect them in the device manager) So I'm not sure whats going on here...

I have come here to revive this post because I am also using DBAN on some drievs I got from an old server Im repurposing for personal use, and one of my drives got the same error. HALP.
