Hard Disk error

Having this pop up after my personal rig update. 

Im thinking it might just be the hard drive, but here's the build just Incase this is common.

Don't have any software on it, or do I have the GPU or wireless card yet. 

I have allready tried switching cables and making sure the connections are good. Everything else works good, new egg isn't available right now so I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions or solutions

Have you tried a different SATA port? It looks like the drive is not reading at all.

Yeah allready tried to switch the ports, changed both power and Sata wires.

Have you tried using it on a different computer? Have you tried a different SATA power cable? It could be a cable problem or a dead SATA controller.

What OS is on the drive?

 

Turn on legacy boot.

Haven't tried a different computer yet, only thing we really have are laptops is there a way to connect them to a laptop

You need to install a OS for it to boot. You can put linux or windows on a usb to boot from.

Thought it could still load bios. That's the whole point of the usb thing right

you need to press a key to load the bios. Normally f10 or delete.

 

Just install a OS

I'll try to load from a usb. But the problem is that bios isn't even reconizing the hard drive I think

It is, there is nothing to boot from.

 

A new hdd is blank with no data. You need to install data to make it bootable.
