Problems with Discord and other stuff

My Astro A40tr keeps messing up with discord and i think its my motherboard, I would be talking or just playing a game then my headset would just start making a loud ringing noise and in discord i would be talking and then i cant hear anyone anymore and i cant talk but when i switch to another computer it all stops and nothing goes wrong. Anyway to fix it or do i just have to get a better motherboard because the one i have right now it quite cheap.

Are you using a USB headset?

If yes, then you might want to try a different headset as well.

If no, then you can try a discrete sound card or USB DAC/Headset and see if that helps.

There are some sounds cards here that are less than $20.
