What is wrong with them? They aren't even tech savvy. One doesn't even know what a motherboard is?!?!? What the heck! Windows step up your game!

Did you go to their website, call in, or did you use the Support app on your desktop? And what was the problem you wanted them to resolve?

I called in support. See previous post for problem.

I did. That's more of an ASUS problem to resolve. Windows can't magically make hardware work. If ASUS is telling you to contact Microsoft then you need to get a non-stupid ASUS representative to help your RMA request. :P

Their website and call in support is usually outsourced to to India and the Philippines for general issues and purchase issues. If you need actual tech support from them you're going to have to type Support in start and use the app to chat with them. They're from the US (or EU?) and are actually pretty savvy.

Microsoft Support are there to help people with basic computer help.

They are not tech savvy people. You think tech savvy people will want to be paid a low wage? Expertise costs a lot of money. So either your Windows costs A LOT more, or you pay for support.

Essentially they are people who know well the pure basics of a computer (monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, computer itself, etc) and how to use a Windows, and follow guides provided to them based on popular questions that they get.
