I want to upgrade to a more modular case with a window on it when I get my 1070, but I cant decide between a mastercase pro 5 or an h440. Can anybody help me out with distinguishing the ups and downs to each?

MasterCase is modular, the h440 isn't. That being said, I use an h440 and it is a great case.

The H440 has limited airflow due to the quiet prioritization, the Pro 5 has more space in the back for cable management and lots of options for moving things around but isn't as visually appealing to most people.

Case airflow has become increasingly irrelevant. As you saw in that one video like did, it takes a lot of limited airflow to really make a difference. I noficed 0 changes in component temperature when I had my panels all of to maximize airflow vs panels on on my my h440

The Mastercase supports a 120 in the rear, 240 or 280 up top, or a 360 in the front.

If you dont use the 5.25 drive bay, it can be removed from the Mastercase. Along with the 3 drive bay too.

It can support 2 ssds on the basement separator, and 2 drives in the basement.

On the basement drive sled, you could just double side tape down your SSD to the 3.5 drive on the sled. And have 2 2.5 inch ssds and 2 3.5 drives all hidden in the bottom without seeing 1 drive. (its what i did for my Mastercase before i went ITX)

On Cooler Masters site there is some custom parts for the master case, along with CAD drawings for the case to allow you to design your own parts.

The MCP5 is a big case and its only handles are at the top. Which they can be carried by.

The bottom motherboard connections have a few holes to just poke enough of the front panel cables, audio, and usb front panel connections without showing too much of the wire.

Just my impression after using a MCP5 for a while.
