how do the mail in rebates work? Do you get a slip with your package that you just mail back and they send you money? Or is it like.. in-store credit you can use for other things on w/e website you order from?

From my experience you register with whoever is doing the rebate, then you mail in a proof of purchases and bar code or something. Thenin a couple months they mail you a check.
