How good it RTMP server for live streaming?

Hello. How good is  RTMP server  for live streaming for example on twitch? Can I do it with ANY laptop? can I get a tutorial?

RTMP server are quite complicated, but simply, they are just routers for IPTV. You can host an RTMP server from basically anything. I have made RTMP servers out of spare raspberry pis!
