So my laptop crashed when i left it idle to go get something to eat and was stuck at boot screen(after the post). i checked everything and it turns out my hdd is being dodgy. i plugged it into my other computer via sata 2 interface but it slowed my other computer down to a crawl with constant freezes every 3 seconds until it was unplugged. i then connected the hdd using an external drive enclosure but it turns out that the file format is raw. i ran some programs such as test disk & parted magic partition recovery to see if they could see my data. parted magic could see my data but all folders were empty. so i left it aside for 2 weeks (unplugged) while using my spare hdd as the internal drive. the next time i plugged this in. windows recognised the partitions and asked to scan it for me. i pressed continue without scanning as it would freeze my computer in it did continue. i checked the smart data of the drive and it said there were a lot of bad sectors on it. - software side

anyone able to help me recover my data?

p.s - it was running a backup over usb 3.0 to my Samsung 2TB external drive @ 79% complete on my full HDD when it failed

kinda need all of my data if possible please?
