What should I upgrade ?

So i have saved up some money ( 200 Eur) and I want to upgrade my pc but i dont know what i should buy. here are my specs: cpu - Pentium E6500 , gpu - GT 9500, RAM - 4gb ddr2, motherboard -  Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L, Storage - 2x 512GB HDD (I dont know the brand/model). Monitor - 1280x1024 75Hz, PSU - 400W

What do you use your PC for?

Could probably get a lga775 quad core for 60ish bucks if you look for one then maybe a lower end gpu (perhaps something like a used 960 which I've seen sell for quite low at times) for around 100 bucks

 

Though what do you do with your PC

If you game get yourself a 100€ GPU I'm guessing a 750ti/r9 270x or something then some more ram. You could always go used and try maybe to upgrade to a new chipset and get a decent gpu

I think i might wait for AMD to release ZEN and see what they got and buy a new mobo,

Or i could get an older cpu. is the FX 8350 worth it ? i think i could afford that + a motherboard with a AM3 socket and then save up some more for a GPU

I didn't recommend a new moba CPU combo since you are only using 200 euros, but if you can save up for longer and wait then do that as you'll get much more performance improvement that way.

 

Oh and don't go 8350 it isn't worth the money since for it's cost (+ extra motherboard cost) you can get better from intel
