USB cable extensions

I am planning to connect my PC to the TV and will likely end up using a USB-Hub for my peripherals.

 

There's two things I need help with:

• What's a good USB-Hub? I only found mixed reviews on Amazon.
• What's the best way to extend the hub's cable by >5 meters?
  • I am mostly concerned about low latency and distortion-free signal

 

Devices to run:

• USB-Audio interface (always)
• Mouse / keyboard (always)
• USB drives (sometimes)
• Smartphone (rarely)

The Amazon basics USB hub has been pretty swell for me within the year ive owned it.

With extending cables, there really isnt any difference. Just any USB extension should do the trick

How long is the cable between your hub and PC? I will likely have to cover 5-7 meters.

Mines nearly 20 feet.
