Old desktop booting

ok so my parents desktop with an old q8300 with 8gb of ram and some hp mobo. for storage it has a 1tb wd green that is giving out smart errors but windows is installed on a sandisk x400 drive. it was working fine but today it refuses to boot up to the ssd.

the error is BIOHD-8

no it doesn't. the hard drive was cleared when the ssd was added so I don't get why the pc is worry about it.

it could also be an unclean connection between any parts of the cable and HDD/SSD

 

no. the hard drive looks to be dead and I need to try the ssd in my rig but will do that tomorrow
