i would start with checking your actual connections if there is a jack behind the wall as it may be damaged also i suggest unplugging and re plugging.

This might be overkill but if you haven't figured out the issue and have some time on your hands you can try this.

1) If you got a laptop connect it in place of your PC and see if you can recreate the issue. This will troubleshoot if the problem is on your PC or on your network

2 )If you still see an issue bring the laptop right to the router and use a different Ethernet cable to plug into the same port of the router that is feeding your room.  If everything is working fine from here the issue is likely on the cable going to your room. Get a new cable tape it to the end that was plugged into your router and go to your room and fish the new cable through.

3) If you are still running into and issue on the same port try a different port

4) If possible connect the laptop or spare router in place of the current router and see if you can recreate the problem.( Depending on the type of service you have with your ISP you might not be able to do this. This step will require some changes in the network settings of your laptop/ spare router.)

5) If the issue goes away once your laptop is in place of the router then the issue is likely your router. Try swapping it out with a spare if you have one. If you are running into the issue with a different router than it is most likely on your ISPs end. If you call your ISP and tell them the steps you used to troubleshoot the issue down to their end it might might you some time getting walked through the usually ISP troubleshooting steps.

Hope this helps a little!
