I use a DNS(Unlocator) to watch movies and show on services such as Netflix and Hulu which are unavalible where I live in Singapore. I use my old macbook to watch movies and I'm thinking of trading it in. If I use a DNS on my gaming PC, will it match me with players in America due to my DNS resulting in high ping?

DNS is used to resolve a name to an IP address and vice versa. It won't do anything to lower your ping, that is determined by distance and number of hops in between point A and B. If you're asking will it lower your ping, then no.
