i7 3770k

Go to solution Solved by Samdb,

I would just buy it now, it's a great CPU and you really haven't got much of a choice. Intel really doesn't drop it's prices too much over time, if at all, so now is as good a time as ever to buy.

Hey guys

So, stupidly I have began ordering parts for my build before I had enough for the whole thing. I have bought the motherboard and case, but have not bought the cpu yet. The socket of the motherboard is 1155. I was planning on purchasing a 3770k, but they seem to be running out of stock at some places due to the 4770k.

Question:

Will they be fully discontinuing to sell the 3770k for much longer? I have enough for it now, just want to be sure that I need to purchase it now. It would be best for me to wait a month or 2.

Cheers guys!
