So lately I've been playing around with the thought of getting an "Asus RoG Raidr Express" First of all, I still need to get this question answered:https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/64481-raidr-express-disassembly/

But enough of that..
The other day I when I was looking through the utilities that follow the Raidr, I thought It could be fun to play around with a ramdisk. And THEN I thought, Cache the Raidr Express with a 16gb Ramdisk? Proberly would be for no noteable performance, but could be fun. What do you think?

Also, on a side note.. Would 2x 256gb ssds in raid 0 lengthen post times against a single 512gb ssd of the same type?

EDIT:.

ALSO, this is my 200th post! \o/

Everyone have a cool signature. I don't, so I thought I would write something.

- Cool right?

There really is no point to it. If you have that much RAM, it will already work to decrease writes to your SSD by caching more stuff in RAM, making things faster and your SSD last longer. You also won't notice much of a performance increase anyways.

I have a RAMDisk on my work machine, I store temporary internet file directories on it, and I have noticed a slight difference (I have a hard drive as the boot disk though). But it's like 1 GB in size. But I wouldn't recommend caching an SSD on it.
