Issues with Chrome browser on Android

I'm having an issue with my Nvidia tablet (Android more that likely). Basically videos are not playing in chrome on my tablet.
Android version is 6.0.1. its an HTML5 based video. I try using the player and the embedded chrome player, neither work.

The video plays for 1 second or 2 and then just stops. I downloaded Opera and the video worked fine on that, so I'm not sure what is the problem.

If your not ROOT.

1. Make sure OS is updated to the latest.

2. Update all software (chrome often updates daily), odd opera worked as it's webkit same as chrome.

3. Install alternative if issue still exists FireFox.

4. Remove chrome and re-install may help.

5. Possibly find app which forces videos to open up in video app (VLC), taking the responsibility away from Chrome/Chromium.

If ROOT

Find custom ROM where you can configure Chrome / Chromium but things can get very complex fast down this path (WARNING: You can brick your device flashing a new rom or rooting).
