The specification listed for cooler height is very conservative.

There are plenty of people who used a 212 Evo which is 158mm tall in the case.

Here's a SR Slim which is 161mm tall in this build: http://forums.furaffinity.net/threads/gaming-machine-your-pc-specs-updated.1986/page-20#post-5473050

Edit: merged dupe threads.

thx, I have i5 4460 aswell so i might choose the Cryorig H7.

Yes, it comes with thermal paste but why get an aftermarket cooler for a locked cpu?

I had merged your dupe threads and edited my post in that time--might want to refresh the page and scroll up to my previous post.

The cooler seems fine. Are you using a different motherboard?

Im changing the motherboard to a MSI B85M-E45.

My other post was that i was gonna move pre builded pc parts to a new case and MB, and the CPU cooler is the problem, the new case supports Cpu coolers up to 150mm but the ones i have looked at is higher than that. so thats why i need help, to find any that fits.

Have you tried reusing the cooler on the new motherboard? I'm not sure if it does since I'm not sure what the mounting system is like but it sits if it fits.

I think i found one, Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO should work for me

It does work. That being said, a $5-10 115x stock cooler off of eBay would also work.

If your'e set on buying  anew cooler, the Rhea would work: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/zNJwrH/raijintek-cpu-cooler-0r100005

If you want a beefier cooler in case you'd like to reuse it in the future for oc'ing an unlocked chip, the Pure Rock is great option: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/cwPzK8/be-quiet-cpu-cooler-bk009
