Hi all,

So I will soon be travelling a lot and I want to bring my PC with me for the times when I am in the hotel.

Currently my rig sits inside a Define R4 which is too big to be carrying around, so I was going to go for a small mATX case, these are the parts I use

G1 Sniper M3

i5 2500 (Will be switching back to stock cooler for this case)

Nvidia 750Ti

16GB RAM

120GB Samsung SSD (May swap to my 500GB SSD for this build)

500GB 7200RPM drive

TP Link Archer T9E wireless card (Can use a USB dongle)

OCZ 750W ATX PSU

So I have seen a cheap case on Overclockers https://www.overclockers.co.uk/kolink-satellite-micro-atx-cube-case-black-ca-005-kk.html

This case seems decent but I am unsure if it will hold my build.

I dont want to spend a lot, ideally £40 is my budget.

What can you suggest?

Thanks

What does an Transformer get? Life insurance or car insurance? - Russell Howard - Standup (Made me giggle a bit)

That kolink thing only supports certain mATX motherboards. Make sure it's the right dimensions.

I swear by the Core 1300 in the UK

It's way better for cable management than the 1000 and 1100, and keeps the same design and good build quality for the price.

Ah! For a suitcase PC, those cubes are just as bulky, except in different dimensions. See if you can find a mini-ITX motherboard with the right socket, and buy a low profile cooler. Then use something like this:

I take it the PCI is on a riser, but how does the PSU work

The AvP Hyperion is fantastic little case for UNDER £25. Comes in black or white, and is chambered.

Has some fan options, though 80mm exhaust fan is questionable, but it compensates with side-fan options and intakes at the front which are 120mm or bigger. Uses mATX boards and normal size PSUs. Supports smaller GPUs mind.
