Hello! I am planning on getting a gtx 1070 founder's edition since i don't have much space for much airflow in my case, i needed a blower style cooler. Anyways, i was wondering, the lowest price i found was for the msi version ($429.99). However, I don't really plan on getting an msi graphics card since i saw multiple newegg reviews mentioning ignoring of customers' emails and refusing to mention reasons for anything. I looked it up on the internet and the company with the best customer service is asus (or so i heard). The asus one is only a $10 difference from the reference gtx 1070 on Nvidia's geoforce site. My brain logically told me that buying a card from Nvidia directly would ensure i can guarantee that they can properly fix any problems that happen to me in the long time since they're the ones who disigned the board in the first place. I just wanted to check, in your guys opinions, which company has the best customer support and repair service (and coverage for damage). Also, what experiences did you guys have with Nvidia's customer support and service. Last question, can you give me some tips for motherboards too (on the same terms, customer service and customer support).

Here. 20$ cheaper than MSI's. Though be prepared, Asus customer support is legendary; it's tales of how bad it is are known all over the globe.

Still, it's unlikely that you'll need to ever use it. You only really need customer support if you are very unlucky.

What about Nvidia itself, is its customer support good or bad? I could buy the reference founder's edition from the nvidia store.

Do not buy Nvidia's FE card. That's a straight up rip-off, whether you realize it or not. Buy someone else's blower design, but don't waste your cash on the Fanboy's Edition.

If you want good customer support go for EVGA.

 •E5-2670 @2.7GHz • Intel DX79SI • EVGA 970 SSC• GSkill Sniper 8Gb ddr3 • Corsair Spec 02 • Corsair RM750 • HyperX 120Gb SSD • Hitachi 2Tb HDD •

I think u don't quite understand the reason im buying this -.- im not fanboying or some shit, like I mentioned above, I needed a blower style cooler since im building a mAtx system. Blower style coolers exhaust heat out the back instead of from the front (between the cooler and pcb) or bottom (under the fans) like other fan designs do. In my case specifically I don't need hot air being exhausted into my case( a very crammed one), since the graphics card is the single hottest part in your computer it can have a lot on impact on your case temps. If case temps rise, expect cpu temps, northbridge and southbride temps, psu and hard disk drive temps to all rise. This is the reason i need a blower cooler like the ones on refernce cards. And please, next time you answer can you mention Nvidia's customer service and some points about them? Plus, I haven't seen any other company's blower design out yet -.-

And where can you buy a blower EVGA 1070 (the FE edition doesn't count)?

Nope, I understand the need for a blower card. And that's exactly why I've pointed you to a blower one. When I say "fanboys edition", I'm not talking about the fact that it's a blower card. I'm talking about the fact that it is much more expensive for absolutely no reason.

No experience with them.

As I said, I wouldn't worry too much about it, though. You only need customer support if you are expecting your card to break, which is very small percentage of people.
