Alright so i made a couple of topics here already regarding rx 480's that i will be getting around release of battlefield 1.

I also made a topic or two about which case with side panel should i get to show off the strix 480 ( because of rgb lights )

And now im making a topic ( kind of for PSU but mostly cable managment )

Right now i have very bad psu 750 W energon or something and i know its dangerous and stuff but it's also not modular at all

Im wondering which PSU should i get (around what wattage) and i kind of want to get the cheapest modular but still quite reliable PSU. So I could do cable management in new upcoming case for my setup ( Corsair carbside spec-01 or spec-02 )

Thanks in advance.

Does it have to be 750W? 500W is plenty for a 480. What is your PSU budget? The EVGA 500W B2 is a good budget PSU, but not modular. If you want a better modular one, the EVGA 550W G2 is a very high quality PSU.

Yes, the corsair carbide has cable management holes in the case. Don't waste money on 750W, 500W is plenty for a single 480 (650W is enough for two in crossfire so no need for 750W).

semi modular means that the 24Pin is not modular, sometimes the 8 pin for the cpu too (but afaik only the 24pin). And you are right, you will need these cables anyway.

Most decent modular power supplies nowadays come with black sleeved cables(there are some exceptions)
