Overwatch Using little resources?

Hi,

 

So I have been trying to get my game (Overwatch) to use more than its currently taking. I have 8GB of RAM and it seems to only use around 1.3GB, similar story with VRam on my graphics card, I have 3GB but it only uses around 900MB. Is there anything I can do to give the game more power so to speak?

 

Windows 10, 64-bit.

The only way to increase the games usage of vram is to up the graphics but if it is at max settings then it's where it should be.

Well... its overwatch . Blizzard wants the most compatibility with players who are using low vram cards, like my 770 with only 2gb... i dont play overtwatch tough.

It will use what it needs. It's not a demanding game. There's no problem unless you're noticing poor performance.

I got a 8GB GTX 1080 and overwatch uses 900-1050 of it...

Getting my GTX 1070 and its probably going to do the same, I wish I could dedicate it more sigh.. I mean years ago Call of Duty 4 was pushing 1GB Vram and using 4GB Ram.

Overwatch doesn't have a huge amount of hi-res textures on each map so it doesn't really use much more than ~1GB, even on max settings.
