Hello! First of all I want to point out I know desktops are better for gaming. I am currently building one but want a gaming laptop for the mobility. That being said I have absolutely no idea what is good in regards to laptops. I would prefer a 17in laptop but honestly will take/pay anything if it's good. Preferably under $2000 but again, I can pay more if needed. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If you are buying a laptop for the mobility why get a 17inch?  With a $2000 budget i'd go http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-blade but wait until they update it with the 1000 series GPU. Or if you need it now go for it

CPU: Intel i7-4790K @ stock for now --- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16Gb --- MOBO: Asus Maximus VII Formula --- GPU: MSI Gaming GTX 980ti --- PSU: Corsair AX860i  ---  Storage: Samsung 850 250gb(OS), 3x Western Digital Blue 3tb (one for game and programs, two for media), 3tb WD Green(somewhat backup) and a Crucial M550 120gb SSD (caching games and programs drive)  --- Case: Fractal Define R5 --- Cooler: Corsair H100i with Noctua 2000rpm, Industrial Fans --- OS: Windows 10 --- Monitor: Asus PB298q + AOC l2260SWD --- Mouse: Logitech G502 Spectrum --- Keyboard: Corsair K70 (Cherry MX Red) Red LED's --- Audio: Audio Engine A2's (yes the originals), Sennheiser HD 58x Jubilee Audio-Technica ATH-AD900x, Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, Ant Lion Mod Mic V4 --- Laptop: Dell XPS 9750

That's what I'm kinda leaning towards at the moment but I'm worried about their quality. You always hear about razer products being pretty cheap quality wise. And when I say mobility I mainly mean more mobility than a desktop. Not necessarily macbook air type mobility if that makes any sense.

I too wanted a razer Blade, but don't do it. They are too small/thin to adequately dissipate the heat they generate so under any kind of gaming load they will thermal throttle, the MSI GS63vr is cheaper and cools it's 1060 slightly better, but you can get a gt62vr, which is 6.4 lbs. with a 1070 and/or a 4k screen for cheaper or the same price as a Blade. I've personally progressed through that lineup myself. There is a video of a blade playing overwatch where the cpu is at 95 Celsius the whole time. that kinda killed it for me with getting a Blade to game on.

You are quite fucking misinformed. the 1060 in the new razer blade. GOOD JOB. That thing runs to 95C on a fresh overwatch run under non-sustained heavy load. It will actually kill your laptop. There's other thread where people were dicussing the 970m Razer Blade and the unique niche of people that should get it, but NOBODY should get this.
