I have 4 old laptop HDDs here and i was trying them in my pc

just 1 booted (boot my windows on my hdd) all the rest either stuck on the mb screen or windows 10 loading

the weirdness comes from that the bios detects them  but the pc /w10 on main hdd/ doesnt want to boot with them  - WTF xD

is it posible they to be dead and yet still show exact model in bios???

or just my mb is doing something weird?

MB might be having storage controller problems

if possible, clone the os onto a different drive and see if it still boots into the os

like i said no matter witch drive i try i have my main with the windows is as boot option 1

(tried unpluging my 2nd witch is a NAS and saw a little improvement - after i plugged it in later it booted perfectly again)

those 3 laptops hdds that left just doesnt give my pc to boot

Most i can do is try on my other one witch has older mb

try it with the MB, but it sounds like the HDD is dead or the storage controller in the MB is dead

the mb is right now running 2 hdds ( 1 witch has windows on it and other random crap and 2 NAS for storage mainly)

i removed the nas one and connected the laptop hdd > the pc either freezes at the mb logo screen /gigabyte logo/ or at windows 10 loading screen (and needs again like a minute to pass the mb logo screen)
