Superhero TV Rant

Marvel has tons of good super hero shows out right now. The best absolutely has to be Daredevil on Netflix, its like if christopher nolan directed a Daredevil TV show. I love DC comics more so than Marvel but DC takes itself too seriously all the time. The Flash TV show is an exception (excellent show btw, season 3 is coming up in october). My frustation is there is a superhero that DC is not using, Nightwing. Nightwing was once Robin but out grew that role and left for another city and changed his name to Nightwing. In the comics Nightwing is known as a guy who sleeps with alot of women and who can be funny at times. I really want to see a Nightwing TV show. My imagination is telling me it would be a combo of Batman meets Deadpool.

I have a problem with the whole superhero genre.  Basically they suggest average people can't look out for themselves and need a righteous protector.
