Intel or amd

A friend of mine asked me to build is PC

He going to game and edit videos on it...

Is budget is from 1000$-1250$ he don't want to OC and he already have an ssd....

He don't want a fancy case.... Rather a cheap OK one...

So my main question is:

Witch CPU should I buy for him?

1.and fx-8370/8370e

2.i5-6600/i5-6500?

 

I also will be happy for hardware suggestions...

for what it's worth all the guys that do x.265 video encoding say to use Intel, AMD is missing certain functionality which makes things MUCH MUCH slower.

Either go with Intel or wait a few months to see how Zen does
