i have a water cooled i7-5820k and it never got higher than 49C so i am thinking of overclocking it but i am not sure what clock and voltage should i use

my system has 600W evga 80 plus power brick and asus gtx 960 turbo 4GB and 16 GB of DDR4 ADATA ram and a gigabyte GA-X99-UD5 motherboard

After disabling all of the power saving features, I simply set my CPU voltage to 1.225v, and adjusted the CPU ratio from 29 to 34 for a 4.3ghz OC. My BCLK was 127.3 for my RAM though, so depending on your BCLK, your CPU ratio value may vary. This is a good first step towards overclocking your chip! :)

i overclocked it to 3.8 GHz with voltage of 1.100v and the CPU ratio to 33 and i ran cinebench r15 and got 1049 cb with a max temp of 56C its a good thing that my motherboard has automatic overclocking it makes stuff much easier but for some reason cinebench kept on saying 6 cores 12 threads @ 3.3GHz but cpu-z showed the clock speed at 3799 MHz and should i try going for the 4 or 4.3 ghz
