So recently I bought a second-hand MSI GTX 960 and I know it's not a brilliant idea to buy second-hand GPU but I've noticed when in-game it is having trouble running and loading textures whereas with my old brand new GTX 750Ti the games weren't stuttering as bad but with the GTX 960 I should be seeing at least some improvement but I'm not and I can't figure out why. Me and my dad both have the computer except for Mobo and Processor. My processor is A AMD A107850K OC to 4.10GHz and his is a Intel Core i5 Quad-Core but in the same games as me he has better frames and I don't know if that's because his GPU was brand new and mine wasn't or if it's because of Processor difference. Also, I've seemed to notice that my HDD usage while in games is quite high so would it be a good idea go buy a SSD for games? Or could it be because of the GPU being second-hand? Or could it possibly be because I'm on beta versions of Windows 10?

My specs are:
Windows 10 Home Insider Preview

RAM 8GB

HDD 2TB
GPU MSI GTX 960 2GB
