I've just ordered a 1060 and I know how to physically install it, but I'm in a little bit of trouble on the software side. My previous graphics card is an AMD card, so I guess I have to uninstall its drivers and install nvidias, that's ok. But what about the games? Do I have to uninstall the games and benchmarking tools, or they will detect there is a new gpu installed? I hope reinstalling the OS is not necessary...right?

Uninstall your old drivers using DDU: LINK Then install your new card and boot up and install the latest nvidia drivers. You will not have to do anything to your games or benchmarks. They request all the resources through their API, either Direct X 9, 11, 12, OpenGL, or Vulkan and that in turn is how the GPU hardware gets utilized.
