So I plan to build my first gaming PC this December and was wondering what I should get. I plan to save up my paychecks for the next 2 and a half months to buy this so I should have around 2000 maybe a little more. I mostly play video games like League of Legends and Blade & Soul / Tera so I would like the game to run smoothly more than anything. I have all the other accessories such as desktop screens and keyboard/mouse so all I need is a tower and the components in it. As for the tower, I don't anything fancy and prefer the color white/black. Please help!

Honestly, for your games 2000$ is overkill, I would do a build for less, assuming you play on 1080p

I can tailor the build for their color preferences

I'm trying to argue that for 1080p LoL/Tera/Blade & Soul, a GTX 1080 isn't actually better than a 1070. Those $450 are better spent elsewhere, like in craft beer or ice cream

I disagree.

Better built, sturdier, better looking, no cut corners. More spacious. But the S340 is still a fine case :)

If I had the money for one, I'd get it, personally. Cases don't lose value over the years like the rest of the computer does, and I can keep using it time and time and time again.

Yeah I realized I might have too big of a budget on this build :S . As for the storage, is 500 Gb really necessary why not 250? Also is that fan going to be loud I'd prefer a quiet one if possible? And what happens if the power supply unit isn't as high end like those such as this one? http://pcpartpicker.com/product/Cfw323/corsair-power-supply-cx600

slightly lower-end ones like the supernova G2 are still great units for your system, but the cx600 is a total joke with the budget you have.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Fan will be quiet.

A higher capacity SSD will allow you to use the HDD only fro video file storage, and put all your games on it. When a game is 40GB+DLC you'll like having so much SSD space

If you purchase a PSU that isn't as good, it will last for less time, your components will last for less time, and if you buy the one you linked, you'll have problems with it shutting off at random while gaming on hot days.

At least buy one like this

So I plan to be going all out since I really don't spend that much often and I want a PC that's more than reliable. That being said, what are some cheaper alternatives but have similar results? For example, I live in Florida right now , so my room tends to get both humid and dusty frequently. Would the liquid cooling  help with that or is the difference not that noticeable when compared to a regular fan. also I'm really digging this case :) .

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/YRV2m8

sorry for the lack of knowledge when it comes to PC parts all I know really is how to build them (I took a volunteer class a couple years ago in Digital connector). Thanks so much for the help btw!

(Sidenote: would I need a soundcard?)
