OpenVpn Security?

If nobody knows my IP, and im running OPENVPN off a custom port, i should be fairly secure right?

You'd be pretty safe. Your only real risk is a drive-by type attack that happens to stumble upon your network. But that's pretty damn unlikely.

yea i just don't want to get rekted by the internet. i don't have my servers configured the way i would want it. 

 

atm it's it's windows server with all my personal shit, then a linux VM running OpenVpn,

 

ideally i would want a second physical server just for personal data that can only be accessed from one computer. 

but $$$$$
