New CPU help and tips

Happy Friday, everyone!

 

I have been using AMD CPU's for years now, and I am now the proud owner of a new I7-6700K.

 

Any tips or advice for utilizing it to it's fullest potential?

Overclocking is great if you have a good water cooler and a Z170 Motherboard.

Would overclocking this CPU have a significant yield on gaming performance? I would not think so.

Each game vary's. CPU intensive games you will notice (Ex: Minecraft)

And for some games like GTA V, you may gain an extra 2-5FPS, depending on how much you can overclock.

I normally play games like Mass Effect 3, FSX, Skyrim, and Fallout 4.

Also running an R9 Fury X. Been having impressive performance from it.
