advaced startup options problem with widows 10 advanced startup options

in windows 10 advanced startup options i only get the option to turn off my pc

What are you trying to do?  Boot from another device or safe mode?

Your windows is installed in legacy mode and not uefi mode so advanced shutdown doesn't work.

AHHHH I'm still learning so much about UEFI.

since it's  legacy, you have to reinstall windows for it to see the system has support and then it can use it

i know how to reinstall but how do i reinstall to support uefi
