I'm looking to build my first desktop soon and I wanted to share the parts I'm planning on using to see if they're any good. I want it to be around $500-$550 Canadian (not including operating system). https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/suzuya68/saved/#view=v4CmGX

Not that SSD. What use case?

- The RX 460 is similar performing and much cheaper

- V300 SSDs are terrible, gave you a different one. Upgraded the capacity while we're at it.

- You're much better off with a branded PSU and a separate case. I don't trust bundles unless the model of the PSU is advertised upfront

- Athlon 845 is the same but consumes less power. I don't recommend OCing on a cheap FM2 motherboard regardless of the CPU model, so the locked multiplier is a non-issue.

That one looks good, but I would add a HDD for storage, SSD for software.

As per OP's request. 240GB is plenty for someone who doesn't have a huge Steam Library or a bunch of video series
