Overclocking

Hi,

 

I am needing help overclocking my AMD A10 7850K. I have tried using AMD overdrive, and that doesn't work well for me. I've tried the Turbo Core Control but the clock speed goes down when CPU is under load. My BIOS is rubbish and I don't know what options to select in the BIOS in order to achieve an overclock. Any suggestions? My motherboard is an MSI A88XM-E35 and I have a Cooler Master Seidon 120V V2.

Go to your BIOS and click the OC button (below settings) go down to "Adjust CPU Ratio"

Enter the multiplier to your base frequency e.g 18x (100mhz x 18), your base frequency can also be changed.

Keep kicking up the CPU speed incrementally, and restarting until you have it at what you need.
