So I recently bought my PC parts and I've assembled my PC.

Specs:

Mobo: Msi Gaming 970

Gpu: XFX rx 470 4gb

Cpu: AMD Fx 6350

Ram: Kingston 1x8GB ram

PSU: Thermaltake 750W black edition

Case: NZXT S340

The problem lies that when I attemt to start it up, my monitor remains blank whilst my pc fans are spinning and LEDs are lighting up.

However since I do not have a DVI cable, I'm using a gtx 550 ti from asus to test the pc. Im using VGA. I tested it with the new card using HDMI on my TV in my lounge room.

Both come with the same problem with the blank screen. I'vealready tried different RAM slots and ive tried resettjng CMOS. Still no luck.

It would be greatly appreciated if I could get some help.

See if you have a DVI cable or buy one and try with the 470

Hopefully I can get one today and try it.

It sounds like you put the computer together wrong.

Try putting the computer on a test bench (or motherboard box) and play around with it.

I am 99% sure everything is in the right place and everything is connected. If not, what could it be? I have Cpu power, PCIE power, mobo power which are the mains. I also have front panel, sata and power for drives connected.
