My monitor stays on after turning it off?

alleyn321

Hello

Recently I get this weird White light coming from my monitor display after shutting my Computer off and even after shutting it off with the power button

Hard to see on this picture but almost half of the monitor stays slightly on

Should I be Worried?

When I unplug the monitor from Power Socket it disappears after few mins

Other than that it works Great no problem when playing games etc.

My monitor does that as well, my TV also does it. The monitor light comes on when it's off, and when I press it on, it turns off. Same way with my Samsung Smart TV

Yes. Your TV is alive, or someone on the other end is watching you.

I assume that's a Benq XL2430T.

That's a known issue with newer versions of that monitor.  It's a hardware issue and Benq identified it and will fix it under RMA.

You have to contact /email them or call them on the phone.
