On the 20th of August I was casually using my desktop in which i personally built. The components include : Nvidia GTX 670, FX 8350, Samsung 850 PRO SSD, Asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0,        T-2Evo cpu cooler and a normal 500gb harddrive. Now on the 20th as I said I was using my pc as I normally would when all of a sudden my screen began to froze and square like artifacts became visible on my screen then the screen blacked out and the 5-10 seconds later until this present day the 22nd the has been artifacts or should i say lines are visible on my screen. From some research I have seen that when these artifacts appear on screen then there is a high possibility that the video card is "dead" or about to die and I have been looking at guides and countless videos on the Error code 43 but none had the solution to my problem. After re-downloading the most recent driver and restart the computer a couple times i then went into my device manage where i saw that my "display adapter" had a problem. The 1st three pics gave a reason to why the card might not be working and the 4th pic was the prompt after i download the driver but after restarting the pc countless times the same problem was still occuring. P.s what is shown on the pic was not what was being displayed on my monitor, the monitor as i said above had artifacts of some sort which made viewing what was on the screen of the monitor to be blurred, unreadable and scratchy. Also i was unable to change the resolution for my system since the display adapter had a problem and it kept a resolution of 800x600 where it should be 1920x1080. Just wanted to know if the error code 43 can be fixed or is the card dead and the video card needs to be replaced since I have tried a number of ways to stop the problem but none of them have worked.

Now, onto your problem. The card could very well be dying a slow and painful death.

However, it's also possible that the drivers are messed up beyond repair, even if you perform a "Clean Install" of the drivers.

Is it possible for you to put your video card into another computer and see how it performs?

If it runs fine, you know it's something else in your computer. If it does the same thing, chances are the card is bad.

@kirashi Yes I did put my video card into my friend's PC nut the same thing happened so I have no idea what is going on.

Then it's quite possible it's the card. Unless you're knowledgeable on hardware diagnostics, I recommend taking it to a shop where they can check it.

PC Check or Parted Magic bootable live Operating Systems can test hardware independently of Windows, but you need to know what you're doing.
