I have a AMD fx 8320, i ran a overclock of about 4200mhz and it has always run stable my cpu is water cooled but recently games have not been running and have just crashed and my whole computer crashes as a result. when i go into the motherboard bios it says what i think is my cpu is not getting enough volts, its says cpu (voltage 3.3) and beside in red it show around 2.9 is this the cause of my computer crashing when i launch a game if so how can i fix it.

Backup your pc, reinstall everything, then retry your overclock. (Also you might want to consider reapplying your thermal paste)

3.3 can't be a CPU voltage. Certainly not vcore, and I don't think VDDAs get that high either. Double check exactly what it says, take a screenshot if possible, and make sure everything is what it should. If your motherboard reports some insufficient voltage, it could be your PSU is behind the problem (your mobo does get 3.3v from the PSU, you want to make sure it is not getting 2.9 instead).

That doesn't include BIOS, no reason to doubt the information displayed there.

It also won't cause computer crashes as described by OP.
