Right now, Gtx 1060 (6gb).

 

wow banned... anyways its difficult to find either the 1060 or 480 for under 300 right now bc of demand, but i'll be on the lookout for deals thx

Well both card will be obsolete in 5-10 years so there is no future with them.

 

Within 2 years probably 1060 and 3 years go to 480 imo unless Volta coming next year and it's a significant architecture change compare to Pascal.

Also depend on how fast dev can bring out DX12/Vulkan optimized titles.
