Really need Headset advice for first buy

i am a student and i can only offer £10 to £20 to buy a headset for gaming.

i was going to search on ebay and found few headset for like 7 to 10 price range with good reviews like Dynamode DH-878, G2000, then i thought to check amazon uk and there were lot of headset with average reviews of 600 on every headset.

i never bought one before as i was using my Samsung earphones but now they are dead. i have zero knowledge what i need to look for in headsets like any special numbers or something.

help me please if anyone in uk have bought any good headset from amazon uk or even from ebay let me know.

just by looking at first few headsets on amazon 1st page i got super confused.

You can have 7.1 with Razer Surround

there's no such thing as 7.1 surround headphones or headset..its just a gimmick
7.1 surround is a speaker set up..
and 7.1 surround in headset means virtual surround.
dont be fooled by them who add more driver in their product to achieve 7.1 surround..
u can achieve 7.1 surround with either dolby surround or with 7.1 sound card or razer surround.

as for the answer for your question.
u can get a decent gaming headset with 20 euro.. but not the damn good one.
be sure to look for a review from reviewer website.. not buyers review.
because they test the headset more deeper than buyers.

Asus has a Strix headset that supposedly does TRUE 7.1 surround.

First build every: Intel Core i7 4790K, Asus Z97-A/USB 3.1 motherboard, Kingston HyperX FURY 1866 2x8 16GB Kit, Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 G1 Gaming, Corsair Obsidian 450D Black ATX Mid Tower, Samsung 850 EVO 250GB & 3TB Toshiba HDD, EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G2, Corsair H100i GTX 240mm, Gigabyte Bluetooth 4.0/Wifi Card, Logitech G700S. Running on Windows 10

Surface Pro 3: i5 4300U with 8GB of ram and 256GB SSD. Running Windows 10 Pro

a4tech gaming headphones are really good, they look like theyre all plastic and bad quality, but ive used their mouse and keyboard for almost a year now and theres no sign of any wear.
