Well the difference is the design (of course but for me the Dell looks better),and the Acer one you mentioned is 4ms,IPS the Dell is 1ms,TN but Dell has really good TN panels

Well you have got both the Acer XB270HU Abprz (599) and the cheaper Dell S2716DG (529) if you are looking for something that supports G sync.The dell unit got a massive discount after release.

Actually the Acer monitor is TN with 1ms response. It was mislabelled by pcpartpicker:

I heard its colours and contrast are not the best according to reviews, but that was when it was for 799, so the standard of comparison could have been higher. Can't find any reviews for Acer's monitor; I only get the IPS version reviews.

Which are a premium...

 

The criticism level could of have been higher when it was 799 since for that you can get a full blown Asus ROG....
