Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for me. Looking for around a 40-43" 4k TV that would be fairly acceptable as a monitor. Don't play that many games except for stuff like SimCity, GtaV and Prepar3d flight sim. Trying to find something under 500 or right around. Anyone have any experience with using something like this and what are your thoughts. Simple PC specs of i7 4790k, 16gb ram, gtx 980ti SC. Thanks in advance.

While I don't own one, the Samsung UN40KU6300 looks like a fairly nice 40" 4k TV that's $500. Has good reviews and spec wise seems to be what you would want for use as a PC monitor. Supports 4k 4:4:4 @ 60hz which is Ideal to have for sharper text when using as a monitor, of course the input lag is there though i doubt it would be enough to bother the moderate gamer. I was just looking at one in person last Sunday and the image quality looked pretty good from whatever preview scene they had on, granted the set was mounted like 12ft high on the wall so it wasn't the best angle to get a judgement of picture quality

That's actually one of the ones I was looking at too. I'm gonna grab something soon and hope I like it. As long as the lag isn't terrible I probably won't notice.
