Amazon import fees Info needed!

Greetings, so I want to order some products of Amazon, but one of my family members sayd id have to pay a 150$ fee if I order from amazon to Slovenia but she never oredered form amazon before so yeah so can anyone tell me if I need to pay the fee or is is she just telling nonsense, any tips?

If you're going to order from the American Amazon you have to pay both custome duty and VAT when your package arrives in Slovenia. 

The custome fee will depend on the ware you have purchased and the VAT depends on the rate in your country.

I just remembered that my friend ordered from German Amazon and since its in EU you apparently you dont need to pay for that.Is it true?

Yep, that's true. Once a ware is inside the EU there are no more customes to be payed.
