Hey, so the ATT agent just left my house. So my problem is my wired desktop computer when in use takes all the speed from the wireless. When the computer is in use we only get like 1-2 megbits when its usually 24. Now is there a way I can limit the speed going into the wired computer so there is more to be used on other devices?

something maybe using up bandwidth in the background on your pc. Check task manager and see what the network activity is like . You can limit the speed at on the router but only on certain models.

But I game on a daily basis so i cant. If i get more speed lets say 50mbs isntead of 24bs would it will just take the 50mbs speed or will there be more to share among other devices.

It depends on what it using all the bandwidth in the first place. but realistically yes there will be more to share

Gaming generally uses very little bandwidth. Sounds like you have another program using it up. If you're using a p2p program you can limit its bandwidth, if not you may have some sort of malware.

Go into task manager make sure you have "more details" and in the processors tab sort the "network" column so the highest network usage at the top
