drive says its formatted but when i try to format it it says the label provided is not valid and wont let me reformat and isnt detected by windows media creation tool

"the operation did complete because the label supplied is not valid"

edit: it doesnt say that anymore and now it is in fat32 and the creation tool wont recognize it?

Then the drive has something wrong with it.  Typically its because it doesn't support UEFI booting.  I'd go grab a cheap one from just about anywhere.

so you're saying that all the flash drives we got dont have that enabled?

Either that or your PC doesn't support it in some fashion.  The only other option is to use the Windows 7 DVD USB Tool.  (which is what I use)
