For a locked Skylake, the stock cooler will work perfectly. The CM Hyper 212 evo is a great option if you really want to buy another cooler.

i7 4790k | GTX 970 | 16GB

That's all you need to know. It's a beast.

Since you won't be overclocking a non "K" processor (not unlocked), the stock cooler will provide sufficient cooling. 

If you're really set on getting an aftermarket air cooler, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is a good choice. It has excellent reviews and will set you back ~$30 USD. Just make sure it will fit in your case before purchasing.
