3970X ASUS IV X79 ? worth getting for second editing pc?? i dont want to spend to much money i dont want to buy more ddr4 ram, i want to use what i have around, im getting a grate deal for the cpu and the mobo £200 for cpu £211 for mobo ? worth it ?

Seriously, don't spent that much money on old hardware.

Would you even use the second editing pc? Do you have employees that would use it? If not that is a waste of £411

Just spend the money upgrading your current PC instead that's what i would've done at least

not paying £1500 for 6950x i already have a 5960x not fast enough for my use  when i game render and stream at the same time

Holy moly, so there is an actual audience for those crazy processors  Would you not edit and render on this second PC instead of just edit, so that all your original processor would be free for streaming and gaming. If so then hell yer go for it, if its only for editing then just render your videos and stuff overnight to save on the beautiful monies.

Why do you need a second pc if you already got a good one? spend it on games or something

If you are going x79 the motherboard is right about what those are going for used, but you can get an e5 2670 (non ES) for really cheap used.
