I am currently helping my friend choose a motherboard. What is the difference between these two?     And we are debating between 6600k or 6500. I think it is going to be 6600k

the Gigabyte is a B150 chipset mobo

you wont be able to OC if you use the mobo

only Z170 allows OC of the 6600K

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

So are all B150 chipset not overclockable?

What about this one? http://www.ncix.com/detail/msi-b150-gaming-m3-atx-33-120220.htm

do you mean 6500 or the 6600K?

6500 go with the B150

6600K go with the Z170

the B150A is just MSI naming

there is only one type of B150 chipset
