so I just finished my first custom loop and installed it on my i5 750 (soon to be an I7 870) and its hittling 75c under load. doesn't seem right to me. I have got the bubbles out. its all second hand stuff. there is a kink in the pipe, but there is still plenty of water going through the loop.

Is it likely to be gunk in the block?

if not what else may be likely?

My rig: r7 1700 @ 3.9/1.35v, 16gb ddr4 3200, assorted rando SSDs, hx 1050, vega 64 1650/1025
